The REFUGE
Designed by the Italo-French artist and designer MARC ANGE in 2016, the REFUGE made its debut at Milan Design Week 2017 and swiftly ascended to icon status. This surreal palm daybed quickly became the world's most Instagrammed piece, sparking a global trend.
The inaugural exemplar found a home at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel, while the MOCO Museum of Amsterdam ordered another for a permanent exhibition, earning the collection an award from Wallpaper* Magazine.
The REFUGE offers full customization for both outdoor and indoor settings. Its palm leaves can be fashioned from metal or upholstered, allowing for an infinite array of combinations.
Buoyed by the daybed's triumph, MARC ANGE expanded the collection to include the Night Refuge (Refuge de la Nuit), a king-size bed, and a series of lighting fixtures called the Refuge Lamps.
